On Thursday, April 27, students and faculty traveled to Florida for their senior trip to Disney World.
As the high school years of the class of 2023 come to a close, the seniors finally experienced the trip they have been looking forward to for the last four years. The seniors started on Thursday at the parks at Universal Studios. Friday would be their first day at Disney where they went to Magic Kingdom and Epcot. The next day, the seniors spent time at Hollywood Studios.
Whether it was relaxing in the warm southern sun or going to their favorite rides at the parks, this trip is a memory they will never forget. Memphis Ling ‘23 shared, “I think it was a tremendous cap off to senior year because it was such a great bonding moment where I enjoyed going on the rides with my friends.”
On Saturday morning, the class joined together at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort for one of the few more masses they will have together.
This is the second year that Kellenberg was able to travel to Florida since the restrictions from the pandemic canceled the trips for the classes of 2020 and 2021. The students were lucky enough to spend this time together before saying their goodbyes in a month at graduation.
The first down payment for the class of 2024 is due June 6. Questions about the Disney trip can be directed to missvigario@kellenberg.org and mrsmeisse@kellenberg.org
