Article by Phoenix writer Delaney Clark ’25:

On Thursday, February 16th, the Senior, Junior, and Sophomore divisions gathered in the auditorium for a presentation by the Sisters of Life.

Sister Charity, S.V., Sister Madeline, S.V., and Sister Cecilia, S.V., shared their personal calls to faith and the vocation of Sisters of Life.

The presentation started off with a fun competition between the three divisions before shifting to an environment where students could embrace their message.

The Sisters’ fourth vow, which is unique to their order, is a vow to protect and enhance the sacredness of human life. With this vow, the sisters are able to help make an impact in Pro-Life movements.

Each of the sisters spoke about how wonderful it is that they get the chance to meet and assist so many mothers, fathers, and children by bringing God into their lives.

Sophomore Amanda Punturieri reflected that, “It was just so amazing to see the enthusiasm of the three sisters on stage. Anyone could tell that they really cared about each and every one of us and were very happy that they got to share their message with high school students.”

The Kellenberg community was very fortunate to have this visit and presentation from the Sisters of Life.
