It is that time of year again when the college search is in full swing and Kellenberg’s upperclassmen start looking ahead to the future. Each year, the College Placement office organizes the College Mini Fairs for the upperclassmen so that they can begin familiarizing themselves with a variety of schools. This kicks off during the first month of school and lasts for three weeks.
Each day the students are invited to explore a variety of colleges throughout the nation to get a taste of what the future could hold. These events take place in the Queen of Apostles Courtyard at Kellenberg and are available to all upperclassmen. Junior Megan Dunne explains, “The fairs encouraged me to talk to the representatives from different colleges and research the schools to learn my preferences.”
While the idea of choosing your path for the next four years may be daunting, the College Placement office provides these events to give the students a chance to ask vital questions and make the process easier to navigate and less intimidating. Students can find a list of the schools visiting that day by checking the College Placement Instagram account, @kmhs_collegeconnection.
