Students of the STEM cluster started the day with a STEM lecture about wind drag, resistance, gravity, and the engineering behind the wind tunnel that makes all of this possible. Afterwards, students were trained on the proper flying technique and hand signals needed to have a successful flight. After training, students took a short flight with Rudy, our iFly instructor, to get the feel of their body position in the wind tunnel. During their second trip, students experienced a high fly, more advanced flight and even did some tricks at 30 ft in the air.
