Easter break wouldn’t be complete without a STEM event for 11 juniors. iFLY Westchester in Yonkers, New York gave these students a structured understanding of the physics of skydiving, explained the engineering that makes the iFLY wind tunnel work, and helped students calculate their fall velocities. After a few demos and flight training, each student enjoyed two flights to get the feel of actual skydiving.
