Troop 87 kicked off winter break with a snow tubing trip to Hunter Mountain and campout at nearby Tri-Mount Scout Camp. Saturday morning allowed scouts time for hiking through snow covered trails before a field expedient MRE lunch. The afternoon gave warm temperatures for snow tubing. Mass at the Immaculate Conception C.C. in East Jewett capped the day off on a spiritual note.
