January 7th, 2017 Junior Brandon Walter was awarded the rank of Eagle Scout at his Eagle Court of Honor at Kings Point Merchant Marine Academy. His scouting career began as a tiger cub in 2006 and progressed through all of the ranks in both cub scouting and boy scouting. Brandon completed his Eagle Scout Projects by creating a learning garden for Our Lady of Grace Montessori School in Manhasset, New York. Troop 87 is fortunate to have a dual troop scout like Brandon as a role model for our young scouts.
