Congratulations to senior, Maureen Pearson, on being named one of Newsday’s top 50 girls soccer players to watch.
Maureen is a serious threat as an attacking midfielder with excellent footskills. She has the opportunity to be a difference maker and is the centerpiece in the Firebird offense. Last season, Maureen has 14 starts with 33 shots on goal. Maureen was able to capitalize on 5. She also had 4 assists. For the 2016 season, Maureen currently has 2 goals and 8 shots on goal.
