Congratulations to Rob Weissheier and Kate Calabro, class of 2016, on being awarded the Paul T. Zois Athletic Scholarship.
The Paul T. Zois Athletic Scholarship was founded three years ago in honor of Prokopios (Paul) T. Zois, father of alumnus Theo Zois ’04, who was killed in the September 11th attacks on the World Trade Center.
Mr. Zois was a supporter of both education and athletics and also coached for many years. His son Theo and his wife Samantha Zois established this scholarship fund to assist college bound Kellenberg student-athletes.
Rob will attend Hofstra University in the fall where he will continue his athletic career on the baseball team, while Kate will attend the University of Scranton to play volleyball.
